Sat, December 10, 2005 - 4:05 AMi cant belive kaslo is getting slotted in with trail or rossland, while geographically its only a 3 hour drive from there, Kaslo is nothing like the wasteland that the trail area is.
I mean wasteland literally, as you drive closer and closer the trees start slowly fading to a pukish brown before all but dissapearing altogether...

Wed, September 28, 2005 - 7:07 PMKaslo is along the main highway, 50 miles north of Nelson, BC, at the west arm of Kootenay Lake.
Where you hear of all the snow slides killing people who are snowboarding, although the media report it as the next town West, it's really in between Kaslo (pop 1000) and Salmo.
