i was raised there. my parents were the back-to-the-lander hippie-types hanging out up on the back road with some goats and a garden... seasonal work... you know, tree planting and that kinda stuff.

Fri, December 9, 2005 - 7:52 AMWe moved there, sorta. My in-law family is in Kaslo. We spend time there to be close to them. We're also fixing up a little house in the greater Kaslo metro area, growing a little food and a flower or two, walking with the teachers on the picket line, doing some work around the area when opportunity arises, that kinda stuff.

Tue, December 13, 2005 - 10:04 AMi actually claim trail, but my sibs were there as kids. times were really tough when the fam was there and it's kind of a testiment to our ability to survive hard times.
