It's nice to be in Kaslo for awhile.
Pretty quiet in town, almost as quiet as on the Kaslo tribe.
Not quite, though.
No snow in town. It's been raining off and on. More 'on' than 'off'. It gets to the low thirties at night. Kinda mild. Then again, it's mostly kinda mild here.
The Silver Spoon is open again, might go there for lunch today.
Since the baker is on a honeymoon, it's slim pickings for fresh baked goods.
The eggs at the drug store are real good. Got to get there early before they run out.
I wonder if the pool at Ainsworth is crowded?
Happy New Years, all.
Tom

Thu, January 5, 2006 - 1:07 PMI'm never sure just what he meant with that line. Celtic types like him forget hardly anything, least of all acquaintances.
Being of the same lineage, I'll try to remember them all and add new ones too.
Nice to meetchya.......

Sun, January 8, 2006 - 10:31 AMGasp is right. Our's got nailed my hit and run drivers, two in as many days. From the looks of the dents, they were driving those big stupid four by trucks. 'Course, that may be my own bias shining through.

Re: New Year in Kaslo
Sun, January 8, 2006 - 10:38 AMSunday morning. It's still misting outside. The curchers are probably churching. I shan't partake.
Set off some fireworks on the beach at Mirror Lake last evening. Had a real nice potluck supper, too.
About a week left and it will be back to the grind. To say I'm not looking forward to it adds a whole new dimension to the concept of understatement.
